more roof woes

Post by penel »

hi again all
ive been stalking the forum since registering but not logging on too often anyway

here we go again with a roof problem
it all started when the roof went down ok but the boot lid wouldnt lock into position so we lifted it in manual mode and reset everything

roof worked fine retracted it and went for a drive and about a mile down the road the dreaded ping ping ping started

put the roof up manually, reset again and roof retracted fine went for a drive and you guessed it ping ping ping

put roof up manually again retracted roof and now the boot lid wont close hydraulically
so now im starting to get a little frustrated

any pointers would be good as the next step may be the big hammer :D

thanks in advance

ps check the fluid level and it is just in the marks as required
by the way can you get the zhm fluid from gsf

i tried pulling the plastic shelf into position so as to drop the boot lid but that didnt work

imm really getting frustrated with this now so any help would be great
