Brake pads
Just had MOT advisory rear brake discs worn....quote to replace the pads is £100. Is that a bit excessive? Anyone know a more realistic cost?

Re: Brake pads
It was just an advisory wasn't it? If it passed I'd leave it until they really need doing.
3 years ago we had an advisory saying our tyres were wearing. The car has recently passed its MOT again - on the same tyres.
Garages use the MOT as a sales opportunity.
