was checking the forum for cam belt change info, got the info but decided to join for further info if needed. Ive just purchased a 1.6 basic model for a bit of summer fun, have been looking for a nice little example for a while but prices vary dramatically so was chuffed to bits to get hold of a 61k 1 owner from new little minter for 2k. Im looking for some alloys to pop on it! cant remember ever having a car with wheel trims! So are the alloys for the 206 called Nimrod? Those spokey ones lol! If anyone could let me know if im right that would be great oh and where i could get some from? dont mind having to refurb? Thankyou, Pamela.

Our 1.6 Allure has the factory original Sirocco alloy wheels. Later models came with the Ouragan alloy wheels.

Oooh thankyou, i never realised there were so many models to be fair, did look at a couple with leathers and various trims but prices for me were way too high, i dont pick mine up until midday today, yearning and praying for even just the slightist peep of sun for the roof down but by the way its looking in leeds, its grim! i think my model states 1.6 s coupe and im presuming its the very basic model as i dont know the trim levels for all the models but should mine have alloys as standard? Looked on ebay last night found some nimrods and some fox alloys, would like to keep with the standard alloys but the fox ones look fab! what do you think?

It's all down to what you like
I have 17" vortex alloys on mine
I do like the nimrods, think they suit the car well

You don't need sun...all I wait for is a dry day and the roof's down, whatever the temperature!P44MMW wrote:...yearning and praying for even just the slightist peep of sun for the roof down but by the way its looking in leeds, its grim!

Me need no sun either.
Especially as I now have a stainless steel exhaust that sounds lovely.

I don't know all the UK specs but I do know that 10 years ago people were saving themselves money by importing cars personally from abroad. Many of these cars were not sold through the UK Peugeot network and were not to UK specification. It was therefore possible to buy a 206cc, nearly to a UK specification but maybe missing the alloy wheels.P44MMW wrote:Oooh thankyou, i never realised there were so many models to be fair, did look at a couple with leathers and various trims but prices for me were way too high, i dont pick mine up until midday today, yearning and praying for even just the slightist peep of sun for the roof down but by the way its looking in leeds, its grim! i think my model states 1.6 s coupe and im presuming its the very basic model as i dont know the trim levels for all the models but should mine have alloys as standard?
