Anyone ever thought about changing the colour of the diplay on the dash or speedos! - I loved my Golf at night (lit up blue/red) - is this possible on the pug 206. Also is the orange display (temp, time etc) able to change colour with the aid of coloured bulbs????????

Got the car booked in with a dash specialist in a few weeks time.

Im currently trying to find out wether the lights in the dash are bulbs or LED's

Stay in touch - Im sure I'll find out soon.

have you thought about swapping the needles on the 206 for the ones off the latest spec 406, have a look at one in the dark, they are REALLY nice.

but there was an error on the german site
it says there you can't change the leds on the window/mirrow switch
i already opened mine up
there are 2 leds thar are orange
so you could pretty much change the dashboard, window/mirror switches, roof switchand the A/C panel and watch.
so you could change the whole car to blue or something
would look cool on the aegean blue

So ti seems that you cant easily change the colour of the dash lights !!

Thats a shame...

I think I might take the panel off and take a look anyway see what I can do

unless anyone knows of any different

you can buy coloured cellophane in all shades of blue from Art Stores - it's dead cheap so buy a few shades and experiment - i think blue would be the best option!!!! I dont fancy taking the speedo off - what happens if I f#ck it up - explain that to the monkeys!!!

be a Peugeot Monkey for the day - deny that you ever touched it.

it must have broke on its own.

Also - the coulored film, make sure it is fire/flame retardant so that it can withstand the heat from the bulbs.

I still dont get it -

Why bother Dissassembling the speedo if you cant change the colour of the panel ?? (see last image)

The site says its dyed red.... does that mean I can use something to wash it off and then dye it blue ???
