hi everyone, only had my 206cc for 1 day when drivers mirror broke. new mirror arrived in post today so car now in local garage to fix. there are a few problems with car but nothing that seems to be major but can anyone give me some advice on the most disgusting smell inside the car? its a mixture between damp dog smell and vomit the guy at my local garage is going to have a look for me while car is having mirror fixed but would be interested if anyone else has had same problem and if managed to fix. great site, no doubt will be checking in regularly ,roll on summer

Hello and welcome sue328320 bad luck with the mirror, regards to the smell between damp dog and vomit the mechanic may well suggest a professional valet
I don't know if you bought through a dealer or private but if from a dealer they should have done one

thanks redken, my mechanic has got rid of smell, said it was because aircon not used for a while and bacteria had built up. he let off some sort of canister and smell gone.brilliant.very happy just waiting for the rain to stop.

I must admit, I notice a wet dog smell in my other car if I turn the air-con off but I can't say it also smells of vomit...but glad your mechanic got rid of it for you.
