Hi

I don't know if anyone can help me or may have any idea of where I can go/how much I'm looking at, butI have just bought a peugoet 206 1999 (V Reg) from a private seller and didn't realise that the dashboard lights aren't working, nor are the fans.
I have also noticed that whenever I start the car, the clock reverts back to 1:00 and the cd player (10 disk multi-changer thing) has a faulty screen.
Does anyone have any idea what this could be and how much I may be looking at?
I'm totally gutted as I think the guy I bought it from may have pulled a fast one on me! :(
Any help/ideas welcome.....please.....

You bought a 206 or 206cc?

206, to be honest, I am totally embarrassed. I checked the windscreen wipers, but when I drove the car, the guy was so busy telling me how great it was, I feel a bit stupid. :o(

Hi nimmy1980 and welcome to the forum!

Sorry to hear about the problems with your car.

This forum is mainly for 206cc (coupe cabriolet) owners but the electrics should be similar so someone on here may be able to advise you. :)

Have you checked all the fuses are ok.

I think the one for the dashboard lights is a 10 amp fuse.

Have a look at the fusebox to the lower right of the steering wheel.

Here's a link to what fuses do what.
