Hello everyone.
My girlfriend has tonight bought a 206cc 2.0 se on a 51 plate, I decided to check it out & from just moving forward or backward's it seem's to be banging/juddering quite badly when letting the clutch out, I am not mechanically minded so any help you can give I would be grateful, I was thinking maybe engine mount???
Thank's in advance:thumbs:
Help please!!! Banging/juddering when pulling away

If 2 garages have been unable to diagnose the fault, it is going to be difficult for anyone without seeing the car. An engine mount COULD be a cause of banging or vibration but so too could many other things. Contaminated/damaged clutch plate is another possibility.
Didn't she test drive it before buying? I'd take it back to the dealer and see what they have to say.

Thank's for the reply.
It was a private sell & to be honest it was a impulse buy for her, after I drove it I told her there was a problem, she thought she just needed to get used to driving it, never mind!!! Just posted to see if anyone had a similar problem, took it to the main dealer today & he did a road test & seemed very unsure of the problem even though it was clearly present so it is booked in for investigation, hopefully they might find the problem & not charge a huge amount, if not it's down to an independant next week although that is a fairly long drive away:rolleyes:

Let's hope the main dealer solves the problem without too much expense. I think you've done the right thing getting the "experts" to look at it.
Good luck.
Good luck.
