Hi everyone,
I'm posting this problem for a friend at work who has a peugot 206 cc. It's a 2006 model and only has 14630 miles on the clock. The problem started last week when the diagnostic esp asr warning light on the dashboard came on. The car seems to drive ok with no apparent problems (although it's not exactly driven hard). To be on the safe side she took the car to peugot who have advised her that the "your sensor" needs replacing at a cost of £672 including fitting!!. The mechanic told her that she could carry on driving it she wished but it would be better to change it. They have given her 10% off the cost of the part and also giving her a deal on the labour. The mechanic also said that he had never seen this problem before and it took him a while to find it.
Has anyone had a similar issue before?? It just seems an excessive amount for a car with so little miles on the clock. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
