Hi everyone.

I am about to buy a Peugot 206cc and join your "family" :)
However, I currently live in Mozambique (Southern Africa) and this country doesnt have a lot of 206cc (actually very very few). So I would be counting on your experienced support and opinion.
The car is 2066cc with S16 2.0 engine. 2002 model with 45.000km. I will be importing it from Japan. Since the car was in a slight accident here are my questions:

1. The vendor says the car is DRIVABLE but the ROOF is NOT opening, and WINDOWS are not going down. What could be the cause of the problem? Could it due to the blown passanger seat air bag?
2. Looking at the damages the car had, would they be expensive to fix ? (if I was able to buy used parts, what would be the prices?)
3. What could cause the air bag to blow? i.e. does it have to be a really hard impact for the passanger seat airBag to blow?
4. Could this car get "structural damages" from an accident it had? (I know it's difficult to say by just looking at the pictures, but what's your opinion?). Personally I dont think it could get structural damages.

I would be thankfull to everyone for their opinions before-hand.

Please don't duplicate your questions in separate sections of the forum.

I would steer well clear of the car you are considering as you are likely to need rather more than the opinions of this forum to get it sorted. Re-consider what you are letting yourself in for and weigh up the pros and cons. Sounds like more cons than pros to me.

Appologies for "doble posting".

Why would you say it's more cons than pros?
Would you say it was a very hard accident?

Any other opinions from anyone?
