Boot Rattles!

My boot rattles quite badly and has done so since I bought the car. It seems to be the part of the boot that flips up when the roof is lowered (i.e the grooved metal at the top of the boot). It may even be the boot catch but this doesn't appear to be obviously loose.

It doesnt rattle when the roof is down which is odd. It might just be because the metal is thin (and cheap!) and that it happens on all models. Does anyone else have this issue? Or does anyone have any ideas how to go about stopping this. When i tap on the top of the boot (the grooved bit in the middle of the handles) it does make a noise which makes me think it's just because the car is not made that well and the bodywork is cheap.

Thanks Ron. I'm going to give a couple of the suggestions in those posts a try. If I have no luck i'm going to take it to a dealer and get them to have a look. I'm sure it's not normal now, otherwise I would have expected many more people replying to those posts with similar issues.

I'll be sure to post on the site if I manage to fix the issue
