Hi, Sorry if this has been posted by someone before - I'm a newby

I'm having an issue with my brakes which has resulted in my other half sliding into someone on the ice yesterday.

In Slush and Snow my brakes keep failing - basically just get a grinding noise when put foot on brake and no response, I have no problems in normal weather conditions.

Is this a known issue with the CC and is it repairable?????

:love-thx:

Sorry if I sound patronising but are you sure your car is not just skidding on the slippery road surface? If there is little grip between your tyres and the road, the best brakes in the world won't stop you.
Get you other half to take account of the road conditions, it can take many times the usual distance to stop on snow and ice.
