I purchased a car, and was told it was a certain model, so I insured it on the info given. Had the logbook back yesterday and it's different, so rang the insurers, but they can't tell me what to charge me as they don't have the full spec for the car. I rang Peugeot UK who said my car didn't exist on the registration given. I gave them the VIN and they didn't have any info other than it was a 206CC. They then told me to call the local dealer who would have a different software package who could help. I got back that I had a 206 E. Contacted insurers again and they said that there was no such version of the car. I rang another agent and was told that they would call back in 10 minutes. When they didn't get back after an hour I rang them again and they are having trouble defining my car.
Is there anyone here who can help, please? The car's off road until the insurance is sorted.

I have a 206cc. The paint code tells me it is moonstone but the logbook says it is silver. The DVLA tells me it is silver/black. Does this mean it is a limited edition? It is a 2.0L. VIN is VF32. Engine no is LH. Cam anyone help tell me what variant it is please? Many thanks. Craigvar
**EDIT** have removed the vin and engine number as it would be so easy to use the information to make a cloned vehicle - ADMIN (Lyndon)

I guess "Limited Edition" would be something quite rare, I see moonstone more than any other colour when on the road, followed by my own colour Blue.
