How to disconnect air bag at the bottom of seat?

Disconnect battery negative terminal & wait at least 2 minutes before proceeding. Reach under seat & disconnect the wiring connector from the side airbag unit.
On completion of reinstallation, reconnect the battery. With the driver's door open, switch on the ignition from outside the vehicle while standing clear of the air-bag & seatbelt. Check the operation of the airbag warning light.
