My girlfriends 206cc is overheating on most journeys - doesnt matter whether sat still in traffic or doing 80 on the motorway! the coolant is full and has had new thermostat within the last year. there is a slight coolant stain on the bottle next to the cap just wondered whether these caps are pressure caps and often get faulty? could this be my first port of call? seems to be nothing else wrong elsewhere eg. rad, pipes, head gasket etc.
If anybody has experiance in this department would be extremely helpfull!!!! thanks mitch.
