I have a 2001 2.0 litre 206 cc se. The cat has died and snapped off.

My local peugeot express fit are saying that they need to see the car to see what diameter my cat pipe is. Is this true as they are asking for a lot of money.

Looking online it seems there is only one type of replacement available.

Does anyone know what is correct. Is there only one type of cat that will fit or are there different sized pipes.

Many thanks

I purchased an approved catalytic converter from http://cats2u.co.uk for £180 and got it fitted by a local garage for £58.

Saved a fortune instead of going to my local peugeot express fit.
