PERFORMANCE CHIP

I have a 1.6 petrol engine. I have seen some performance chips on ebay which connect to the air sensor (some adjustable ones too) and was wondering if they make any differance or is it just a gimick? If it does work, can anyone recomend a paticular one and will my fuel consumption increase?

they are gimmicks. it just fools the ecu into thinking that the cars cold so over fuels. no seriuos power to be had.and yes your fuelling will deffo go up.
recommend you get a proper performance chip or flash from some one like super chip etc etc.
