Please can anyone help???? A couple of months ago I took the took the roof down on my car and it got stuck and wouldnt go back up. I followed instructions in the manuel and and put the roof back up manually, since I have, Ive had a constant bleeping sound when the vehicle is travelling over 5mph. I took to to Evan Halshaw in Leeds who had a look at it and told me the car has reprogrammed itself to think its a 5 door and thinks the back door is open which is why it is bleeping. I was also advised it had run out of hydrolic fluid and costs £100 just to fill it up. After 24 hours being in the garage I was still no further forward, and requested they got the parts in and repaired when I returned from holiday. I called in at Halfords and got 2 bottles of hydrolic fluid which costs £8quid a bottle - so much for the £100!!!! I managed to fill it up (bearing in mind it was already half full) but upon doing so found the seal needs replacing as it is causing the hydrolic fluid to leak from there, when the roof button is pressed.
A month and a half later I receieved a call from Evan Halshaw to say they finally have the hydrolic fluid in stock! What a joke!
I have a look at a few peoples problems on here regarding roof, and found other people having the same bleeping problems as me, so I think Evan Halshaw also got that wrong about it thinking it was a 5 door!
Any ideas where I can get a seal and get this roof sorted out? Its been 3 months now, and with the sunny days were having I cant take my roof down!
Help anyone has any suggestions would be a great help.
