Hi all,
Guess what: since I bought the car (6 week ago from Independant dealer) today was the first heavy down pour and yes-yes yes----- my car roof leaked as well!!
its on rear passenger side. I had a close look and its the seal joint- where quarter window seal meets the passenger window seal- they are not tugged in nicely as on the driver side.
By the way I have treated all rubber seals with Autuglyn rubber and vinyl this w/e.
Anyways- I went to the Peugeot dealer and a very helpful chap had a look at it. As expected he said that the seal needs changing. Since they are fixed to the roof- no amount of pulling or pushing is going to make any difference.
Price: parts- £66; labour- £25- roughly £100. He also mentioned that if the leak isnt too bad- leave it (rather - put up with it) 'coz changing the seal can mess around with allighment etc
What are your thoughts? Is the price right? Does the seal need changing? are there any alternative (...and cheaper) options?
Before anybody asks it- no its not covered under the warranty and its a 51 Reg
Any suggestions are welcome

I had a leaky roof but it only leaked once every few months. It was only under heavy rain that a few drops would seep through so I never bothered getting it fixed.
I remember hearing years ago on the forum about a silicon grease? can't remember much about it but I think it was quite successful. I also remember people getting seals changed and still having a leaky roof.
