Hi,

Just bought a 1.9D 206, Just pulling into my road when a bloke signalled for me to pull over :yikes: thinking 'look out'

He told me my rear wheel was wobbling slightly  The car has some non-standard alloys which are scratched to hell.

I jacked up the car and checked but eveything was tight and solid. My missus drove it and i followed but nothing.

The only thing I have noticed was 1, The hub has a chip off the edge behind the wheel in question and 2, when looking at the car from behind, both rear wheels seem to slope inwards slightly. Is this normal, it doesnt seem too worrying.

Hopefully the blokes eyes are wobbly
Any ideas, Thanks

If the wheel is true then the tyre could be mis-shapen or fitted askew.

It is not unusual for the wheels not to be vertical, depending on the load in the car.
