Just wanted to say hi as a new owner of a 206 CC.

2001 2.0 SE in silver. I have heard from several sources to stay away from early models but I couldn't really fault it for an 8 yr old car. Very good condition with low miles and appears to be in very well looked after.

Any advice on ownership would be most welcome. :)

:) Hi Kala - Hope you enjoy your car as much as I do mine!

I bought a 51-reg CC 2 years ago and don't regret it. No mechanical or electrical trouble of any sort - touch wood! I think if the early cars have been well looked after they can be perfectly OK!

You'll find this forum great for advice and queries!

Now we just have to hope for some nice weather this summer! :)

Hello kala, welcome to the forum.
Many of the problems owners have seem to be self-inflicted. If they read their owners manuals thoroughly they'd save themselves a lot of trouble.
Let's hope you've bought a good example. Enjoy spring and summer in your new CC.
