Hi,

I am new to the site but was wondering if anyone can shed any light on two things.

No 1: the Oil temp guage doees not move at all, any ideas??

No 2: Ok this maybe a very simple answer as I maybe being very dim!! Ok the dipped beam works fine on its own but when it is switch to full beam the dipped beams lights turn off completly and only the side lights are left on. Is this normal i.e how they are designed to work or is this a fault (sorry the car is a 1.6 se on a 52 plate and it has the dual headlights.

Many thanks

Dan

No. 1 - Can't recall, but don't think that should vary that much anyway

No. 2 - That's normal. The low beam goes off when you turn on high beam.

Hi,

I am not sure if anyone fully understood my problems I posted, juding by the one reply I would say no!.

Well the problems are now resolved with a quick trip the a local main dealer who said the software had been updated but not reset. But they did it for free and now the opil temp gauge works and the dipped beam does not turn off when full beam is put on

Thank you for feeding back the result. May help someone else with a similar problem in future.
