Hi
Please could somebody help.
I have a 2005 206 cc 1.6, have installed a Sony BT2600 also have ordered the PC99- X44 and Sony patch lead.
Everything seems to work, e.g the stalk. But I have no radio display on the multi function display, is this correct? I thought I would still detain this with the addtional ( expensive leads)
Next problem, the stereo does not switch itself off with the key removed. I read in this forum it will switch itself off when in eco mode or something. I left it an hour came back and it was still on. I even changed the settings in the HU itself to auto shut off in 30 secs. This didn't happen either?
Lastly, I need a facia surround for it, I have bought the FP-04-03-H which doesnt fit. Does anyone know the correct one and where I can get it from?

Any help appriciated, thanks in advance. :love-thx:

Most Peugeots (and definitely the 206cc) have the "always on" and "switched" (thats yellow and red to you and me) lives the wrong way around on the ISO connector, most wiring loom adapters have bullet connectors for this purpose. Just switch the red and yellow wires over and that should solve your always on issue. I'm not sure about the stalk or the display though, I've always been content not using either.

Hi, thanks for the response, I will have a go at swapping wires out. I guess I could live without the display, but still have had no response with the facia surround, anyone?

a 2005 shouldn't need a fascia surround, it's a standard DIN slot.

Unfortunatly it does, you can see the metal cage surround, it looks quite ugly.

Ah, I see, well thats unusualy because most head units come with a plastic surround to hide the cage, sounds like yours may be missing or not doing a very good job! Unfortunatly I'm not aware of a fascia kit for a 2005 206, as I said before it is a standard DIN slot.

Others may have some other ideas. Maybe a picture would help us see better what you are describing?
