:firedevil:Firstly, hello all..im new to the ownership of a 206..now have a 53 plate ..but not a CC!!!!Already ive found that the wipers and washers have paked up,check fuses..all ok!!powered up pump and washres and all work ok,ive been browsing the forum recently and have heard mutterings of a COM 2000 unit being at fault,..well..beng a mechanic by trade, have tried getting a switch unit from Eurocarparts(www.eurocarparts.com).theyve told me the wash/wipe switch is available separately at a pice varying from about 17 quid up to 38 quid.....damnsight cheaper than the 200 quid ive heard of people forking out!!Has anyone else changed the switch unit??is it a component switch(ie,can the headlight switch, wash wipe switch all be obtained separetly??).If the switch does have to come off,how does the steering wheel come off??obviously after disconnecting the battery and allowing the airbag to discharge.
Im sorry this post may seem a bit long winded ,but i hope to get a Haynes manual, but my local Halfrauds havent got it in stock yet!!!Thanks...Minime
