Hi my cousens 206's gearbox is slipping around between 1, 3

hi dont drive my self but i know this isnt right feels like the metal pins that are spacing the gears at the top of the gearbox are broken, dont really no. it feels like the car is going in to 3 when you try and put the car in 1st and the gear stick moves from side to side between 1 and 5 it doesnt go into gear properly any help?/:yikes:
