I broke the roof of my wife's blue 53 cc last weekend.:yikes: by switching the ignition off have way through its opening sequence. :o:o

Having followed all the tips here on how to manually close it etc etc, nothing worked. All I was :censored: getting was that :censored: annoying :censored: warning bleep to tell you somethings was :censored: wrong but not an indication of what it could be :mad: Better if it said something on the display to give you a clue what was wrong

Anyway, there is no way I was going to be parting with the best part of a £100.00 at our local Peugeot dealer so I had a go again tonight, you know by passing limit switches etc manually opening the roof again and then manually closing it.

Anyway, I gave up in the end but with one last idea I then decided to move the car onto flat ground as our drive has quite a gradient. The minute the car was level the roof worked albeit a bit ropey at first until the hydaulics came back up to pressure.

This is one to watch out for if you have yours parked on a slope

I am back in the good books again now so I am off for a :beer::beer:
