Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be great

I have a 02 206cc 1.6SE, (60,000miles) just had a (2nd) new exhaust and cat fitted and had an MOT+service, two days later I get an antipollution fault. no loss of power or any other problems (in fact mpg seems to be better!!!). take it to the garage, they clear the fault and check the emissions - no problems. I drive off and two days later anti pollution fault again. its there everytime i start the car.

any suggestions?

Sounds like a faulty sensor. But which one?

A similar fault was

but you haven't got the overheating symptom.

Was the work done by an authorised Peugeot specialist?

The work was not done by the authorised peugeot specialist because locally they dont know a spanner from their elbow if you see what I mean. The garage I took it too are Jaguar and Porsche specialists so they do know their stuff.

Anyway going to book it in again. One other thing the exhasut seems noisy (not noisy blowing), like its not been fixed to the underside of the car properly - or a gasket missed?. Anyway I've looked and cant see any bolts etc missing that are obvious.
