Hi guys, so here i am with my new purchase. 52 reg Black 206cc and basically i have the old JVC head unit from my Astra to fit, where the hell do i start with the speakers in the doors?

Typical woman that i am only just worked out there's no actualy place for me to put my 6 by 9's...

I dont know anyone reputable that could help me.. and i dont trust just walking into a random garage.

Im confused as the speakers in the doors curve into the door panels.. can these even be changed?

the sound at the moment is awful :(

Appreciate any help muchly!

Hi Hiccup you are being very clever by not just diving headlong into the first fitmen center that offers sound installs.

The clarion headuinit my 2005 Pug came out with is fine dont go replacing the head unit for the centre display and the stering controls wont work unless you get a aftermarket connetion specaily made for your vehicle and head unit.

Unfortunately with car audio what you pay for is what you get and the install itself is more important than the equipment.

You wont get a good sounding car without an amp and atleast one sub even if its just an 8" Sub to fill the bass. Stay away from 6x9 unless you only want power their ovel shape is not favorable for good quality.

The fronts are 6" and the rear 5.25" on my pug.

Dont be afraid to ask for any other advice.
