Exhaust was blowing where the pipe enters the back-box assembly (common fault). Read in the forum to stay away from the Pug garage for a replacement due to the £ cost .
Did not fancy doing it my self ( getting the parts of center and rear assy from the internet around £100) nor did we want a statinless one , so its a off-the-shelf pattern replacement for me. Rang around for some prices which varied for the two parts I wanted (the center section and rear box ,,, the cat had already been swapped earlier so the cat was no longer part of the center section as is the standard I believe) and varied between £120 to £200.
Settled on Kwik-Fit at £152.19 inc fitting inc vat and with 3 year g'tee
Kwik-fit Part numbers are PT401 for the back box and PT400 for the center box/pipe (no cat)
Rear box has a oval shaped chromed tail pipe, which is "ok", but not as meaty looking as the original .
