Hi all,

I have a had a CC for a couple of months now. Ever since I've had it, the centre multifunction display is very dim - so I can only read it when it gets dark or in the shade. Is this normal, or a common fault? Can I fix this...? Anyone with the same problem?

Thanks.

Thanks ron.

I like the car a lot - had an MGF before this (which is not as bad people make the beleive), but the CC is very nice. Definitely and upgrade.

I looked at this again; when I put the headlights on, the panel dims - way too much. There's a button near the airbag enable/disable switch, that (I think) controls the panel brightness. I move this up and down, but doesn't make any difference.

there is a button on the speedo that looks like a trip reset button but it actually adjusts the brightness of the display

No - that is the trip switch.

I think this is a standard on the CC. It dims the panel too much when the lights go on. Which is fine when it is dark, but not if it is not dark enough...
