Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of owning an import 206cc instead of a uk version?

What differences are there between the two for a 1.6 206cc with a/c?

Look forward to your responses.
cheers
Matt

If it was a UK spec but import then the length of the warranty would have been shorter, either 12 months, or maybe 24, instead of the 3 year warranty provided by Peugeot UK.

My daughter imported a 306 cab and found that she had to pay for some repair work to the hood mechanism when it failed within a couple of years. She also found that some dealers were less helpful when they found out is was a import, and expected her to pay for her first service, which was free for UK dealer supplied models.
