Anybody had this problem or a similar one?
I’ve started to get a funny rubbing/humming noise when I’m reversing down a hill, it seems to be coming from the front of the car.
There’s no problem when I brake going forward and not really a problem when I brake reversing on the flat, its just when I brake reversing going down hill. I have to do this to get in my garage, so its quite noticeable and noisey.
I know the 206cc’s have problems with squeaky brakes, so I’ve had the mechanic check these and we had the wheels off and cleaned the brakes just in case, but it’s still there and there’s still plenty of wear on them.
Anyone got any ideas what it is? Or has the curse of the squeaky brakes finally caught up with me, just in a slightly different way?
