Just joined the club this morning. Have found a 206cc for sale and thinking of buying. Note that I can buy a rack for the back to carry extra luggage. Could I strap a bike to this rack? Any other notes or advice to a prospective new member would be valued. Adrian

Welcome to the forum Adrian,
I hope the 206cc you've found is a good one with no problems. A search of the forums on this site should give you a fair idea of what goes wrong, and how to avoid expensive pitfalls.
I think the boot rack is more intended for a not-too-heavy suitcase rather than a bike.
Perhaps a hatchback or SW would be more practical for that!
Regards, Ron

over here some forum members use a bike carrier which is mounted to the trailer hitch, e.g. as shown here http://www.roofrackshop.co.uk/bike/thul ... -racks.htm
