Annoying speed warning bell

I've just bought a 2008 207cc. It's my first new Peugeot and it's fantastic! However, it has this really annoying beeper when you go over 120kph, and it just wont shut up. I know the purpose of it is to remind me not to speed, but if I decide to go to a track day I don't want to be driven mad. I'm guessing this isn't a new thing for Peugeot, and someone must know how to dissable it, or at least adjust the speed it's set to. Can anyone give me detailed instructions on how to remedy this?

Hmm, I was hoping I could turn it off myself. I live in Dubai, and it's a legal requirement to have a speed warning. I'm sure I could get the local service technician to turn it off by slipping him a few hundred dirham, but if I can do it myself I'd be much happier. Do you know if it's possible to do at home, or do you need one of those special programing units (sorry, I don't know the correct name) that the dealers have?
