HELP - How can I switch off the Auto Wiper function !!

We have a (very nice) 206 CC. Only thing is the Auto Wiper feature drives us NUTS !! Would like to switch it to plain Intermittent but can't find anything in manual to say how to do it (though iinfuriatingly it suggests it is possible as it says 'If Auto Wiper function fails it returns to intermittent - report to main dealer to repair').

Any ideas anyone ??

they can plug it in and turn the rain sensor off in the bsi, this will make the wipers revert back to int again
