any body changed a cambelt and tensioner lately is it a hard job or fairly straight forward its a 2 ltr by the way any help appreciated cheers Brianjavascript:insert_text(':yikes:', '');

Not sure about the question here but can anyone tell me when the cambelt (or any other expensive belt for that matter!) needs changing and HOW MUCH can I expect the bill to be??? I have 2.0lt 2003 Silver model (spec not colour, although it is Silver also!! lol) Thanks x

Is it gti 180? have a look at the bottom pulley see if it has four bolts holding the aux pulley on if it hasnt it has got a floating crank pulley be careful, there is no data on the 180 its a nightmare, if you got ant questions i would be happy to help.
