Yes Derek,
Since joining the forum you'd have thought they'd have lent their expertise to the many technical queries since their solitary post, but no, they must be in it for the money - not the goodwill. A shame though, because they could have used these opportunities to build up a fine reputation as a kind and outstandingly helpful dealership where 206cc owners and buyers would want to visit. But perhaps that sort of dealer doesn't exist in Kettering.

I don't think that sort of Peugeot dealer exists anywhere Ron :rotfl:

But as mentioned, it was an excellent opportunity to raise their profile - instead they did the opposite.

I could have seen their point in advertising if it was an excellent deal but here's another one selling over priced stuff on their first post :)

Dealer £10,114

Private £9,114

Part Ex £8,814

Yes, my daughter and son-in-law weren't very happy with the customer service they received in Kettering when they took their 306 Cabriolet to them for its "free" first service. The dealer tried to impound the car until they paid for the service as it was an import, until daughter's solicitor got involved. Peugeot later confirmed to my daughter that although the car was an import the dealer should not have tried to charge her for the first service.
There was this sort of apartheid for people who went elsewhere to get a decent discount on a car. Thing is people don't forget these things. I'll never set foot in that dealers again myself. Unless I break down outside their door of course! ;)
