Hi there

Im having a few issues with my 206cc - 1.6

Last week the exhaust sounded and looked like it was going to fall off, i took the car to a local garage and was told that the centre part of the exhaust has broke rotted and needed replacing.

After this work was carried out the EML came on and was diagnosed as a misfire in the number 2 cylinder connecting the rev counter???

Anyone else has this issue? know what the cost of fixing is likely to be.

Only had the 2003 206cc 2 months (very low mileage) so a bit disappointed to have it broken so soon.

Thanks in advance

mmmm might have something to do with the catalytic converter and/or sensors on the exhaust (sorry forgot the proper names )

Well, took the 206cc to Peugeot and was told that it needed a new coil pack and spark plugs.

Two days later the EML light is back on.

Has anyone else had this issue and also has the things mentioned replaced?

Cheers
