Aluminium Tax disc won't stay on the window

I hope someone can help me out on this one. I've bought no end of sticky pads, but still the tax disc holder keeps falling off. I've put it on and held it while I hold a hair drier to warm up the screen and the pads, but it won't stay for more than a couple of months.

Can someone please help me out on this one,

if i remember right i put a couple of extra sticky pads on top of some of the pads to help with the curve of the windscreen, think it's a case of trail and error

Thanks for the reply Lyndon, I thought this may be the case. Another set of tabs for me to buy then. It seems to be more error than trial at the moment.

i got 30 pads from ebay for about Â£2.50 including postage not sure if they were cheaper else where

Thanks for your efforts Lyndon, but I bought a set of 6 for Â£99 yesterday. I'm going to wait until this rain stops and get a nice dry day before I put them on.

Here we go again!!

Hope the Nissan has a straighter screen!
