Does anyone have any advice on cleaning bird mess off the seat of the Peugeot 206 cc Sport... (so that it comes off and doesn't leave a mark)

I got caught yesterday whilst driving along with the roof down...

Advice would be appreciated

Jez

P.S. can I just say what a great website this is...

are the seats cloth or leather ?

leather may be the easiest to clean using a leather cleaner such as autoglym leather care or similar :)

mmm not sure what to use, don't want to suggest something that may ruin the cloth :(

OK thanks... Apologies for the rather grim topic of conversation - I was not amused when I saw that those pesky birds had done!!!

(And I've jsut seen that I put this in the wrong place - D'oh!)

OK, try this, let it dry and remove the crunchy bits with sellotape or duct tape, then try one of the foaming carpet cleaners such as vanish.

Try it somewhere it wont notice first though, as i couldnt guarantee it wont take the colour out!

Autoglym Car Interior Shampoo should do the trick :)
Just spray it to sponge and carefully rub with it, use lot's of water to rinse (moisten sponge in warm water and rinse with it).
