M could you please tell me the laquer you are using to seal the paint, as the paint i am using says dry in 10 minutes, but 24 hours later is still soft to the touch! Cue another layer of paint to cover fingermarks and it keeps getting thicker and thicker!

Many thanks
Paul

OK the paint is by plasti-kote - from halfords - METAL FLAKE was the one i got....

As for laquer - its halfords own too... Cant understand why yours is still tacky as mine was touch dry after about an hour...

Hope this helps..

Ello

hmmm. not sure....

The problem that i foudn is that hte interior is either brushed alu or chrome. silver adds another colour to the inside... complicates things. Maybe if you could get a chrome spray (but youd have to makesure the surface was dead smooth as chrome shows imperfections) or a aluminium one it might work....

Maybe if you have photoshop or PSP you could take my pics and change the blue hue to silver !?!??

If you look at
http://www.m275.com/style I;ve put a quick pic together with a mockup silver dash....

Looks a bit nasty (pic quality) but maybe it helps.

Let me know if you want me to do another one.

Yeah i see what you mean...it'd be a bit risky...What other colour would anyone recommend on a silver CC (i'm not a fan of chrome though)
Thanks for doing the pic though M

Hmmm silver car - black dash....

BLUE !

lol

erm its a tricky one - you need to look at the colours on the car and see what else is on it that might go - not sure in your case.......

SOrry mate. Maybe its best black.
