So I'm planning on going to peugeot tomorrow to pay for the code to sync my key to the car, does anyone think this may be the answer?! It's seeming like it won't start just because the car thinks it's being tampered with, so I'm praying that this will kinda reset the whole car and just start again?!

If anyone is going to be able to sort this out then a Peugeot main dealer should. I would give them the whole history of the problem to help them with their problem solving.

Good luck.

ITS FIXED!!! turns out it was the chip from the key which we lost, so had it replaced and re synced to the car and it's all fine again, only thing is I have to now open door manually as buttons on key don't work, but as long as it drives I'm happy :) thanks for all your help

You should be able to reset the fob to unlock your doors
Just follow the instructions in your owners manual. If you get stuck doing this let us know, but read your manual first. It is easy to do.

I'm glad my hunch proved correct.

Thank you all, so happy to have her back!! I don't actually have a manual as I bought the car second hand and for some reason it didn't come with it, so any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Switch ignition off and immediately on again.
Immediately press the large button (key still in ignition) for a few seconds.
Switch off ignition and remove key.

Remote should now work.

Handbook for sale here.

Not much use if you're stuck in the bundu, but you can view it online http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ddb/
