The owners manual says that the radio is coded to only work in a particular car and that no intervention by the user is required.
Funnily enough, I have just taken my Picasso off the road and was considering disconnecting the battery. In the manual for that it says the radio requires a code but apparently this is untrue, like the Pug the radio is coded to only work in the car it was fitted to.
Get one of the other guys to confirm but this is my experience.
I'm in Bolton BTW, might see you around!

As Thar says, no code needed. Your car will recognise its own radio.
Plugs are about due then, from memory I think they are scheduled for a change at 40,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes soonest. Check in your service book.

Cheers dudes - may give the plugs a go tonight and home that the vibrations in idle stop
Already changed the fuel filter but it made no difference

The coil pack sits on top of them you'll need to unbolt this to get at the plugs. Shouldn't take you long. Just be careful not to strain or break anything.
You may find this helpful. Maybe not exactly the same as yours but will give you the idea.

Register on the forum then. Only takes a minute.
Undo cover - 6 torx screws. Undo coil pack, lift away from plugs, remove plugs.

What oil and filter did you use?
Total Quartz 5w-40 Fully Synthetic and the genuine Peugeot-Citroen filter I hope.
Did you get the level correct, and not overfill it?
Look at post #9 here

I would take your plugs out and examine them. If they are Bosch you will see which type specifically. The problem may become more apparent if they are wet with oil. Did you spill any oil on the top of the engine when refilling?
