As previously mentioned it's mis-firing and yesterday I got the anti-pollution fault and engine management light combo. Would the hydraulic tappets issue cause this?
I've got it booked in at the garage tomorrow for them to look at it and the warranty company have agreed to cover costs. Worryingly when I booked it in the mechanic mentioned that the warranty company might not cover the costs of the diagnostics, only the work that needed to be done. I've checked and it's £49, so I'll try not to pay it but I don't mind paying that if they cover the price of the repairs.
