Roof does not open - "Dealers" URGENT

Hi

I bought by second hand pug in Jan 07' and I have had no problems until now :exclaim:

When net is on and I release the catches it makes the usual sound, however the roof doesnâ€™t seem to come down..... and the roof button doesn't automatically put the windows down, so i did it manually (i.e. window button) and it worked (roof came off).

I then tried again and neither of the above worked... however dealers have admitted to a (one) catch being slightly faulty... i.e. doesnâ€™t seem to click/clasp back in to place any more unless force is used... should this affect the roof coming down ... once catch is off ?!?!?!

Please advise asap as i'm really upset and starting to panic.

sounds like your roof switch has gone up the swanie.bet if you plug in a newie,all will be well again

Roughly how much would that cost???

Is the roof re-set button in the boot (white circle) on the right hand side?? And if so is it meant to be at a pull of a cord or button.
