Hye have posted this about two years ago but something odd has made me try again. The LCD screen does not come on anymore so I have no clock (time) or temperature - for two years its not worked - I checked the bulbs as REAP has said to others and nothing. The other day when I turned the engine on it come on????? In french though so I changed it to english and when I turned engine off then on again .....no lcd! Later in the day - it came on again but now its gone again. Am I missing something simple??? Is it a battery thing?? I am not mechanically minded so get guarded with the garage esp when they said my lcd was broken its obviously not! ANY IDEAS WELCOME!!

o.k, i can tell you whats up with it.. a terminal inside the mfd has broken off.if you remove the mfd couling.pull the mfd connector (with ignition on)gently to the back of car,or wiggle it.you will prob find it will come on. :)
and yes the display is broken most likely. whats it look like? i may have a spare? :)

Hye - dont know what the mdf is?? sorry dont know much about the technical side of cars! Took the front off and saw some leads going in and wiggled them but nothing. The bulbs are fine. Tricky to see though unless i unscrew the casing.
