France - 1st time the holders have been knocked out in the first round since 1966!

Argentina - 1st time they have been beaten by England in world cup since 1966!

Spoooooooooky!

We BADLY need to win the World Cup again, so we don't have to keep going on about '66.
But in the meantime - coincidence? - the victory against Argie animals in '66 was also 1-0.
Also, bizarrely, the years add up to the same number - 1966 and 2002 - both make 4 (keep adding digits till you get a single number - strange maths, I know!)

Speaking of spooky coincidences (we English will clutch at any faint sliver of hope), I won £66 on the Eng v Swe match by having Sol Campbell to score first and the result to be 1-1...

ps I own a CC - its very nice
(got to keep this relevant...i vaguely remember footy being mentioned a few months ago and people being slammed for it!!! )

You unpatriotic lot!

What would the odds have been at the beginning of the competition of Argentina and France going home early!

Derek can I be first in the queue to have your CC for my husband?

I always dreamed of owning a convertible but never thought it would come true and it has so come England win the cup - another CC would look lovely on my drive.

By the way Derek what colour is it again?
