I have a 206cc 2.0l 52reg.

Everytime I take my foot off the brake there is a hiss (tsssss). I thought it was normal but my sis now has a 206cc and hers does not do it.

Is it something simple. A friend who is semi mechanical said it could be a hole in diaphragm of master brake cylinder. Not sure. Any advice would be appreciated.

P. S. There is no loss in braking at all.

Thanks.

Is this at a standstill? if so it's nothing to worry about.

no, its all the time. It's odd. absolutly no loss of braking, just bloody annoying that every time i take my foot off the brake pedal (unless i do it very gradually) there is a hiss. Its ok if stereo is loud, but that can't always be my solution to faults lol/
