Hi - I have a 52 plate 2.0SE and have a problem with (I presume) the bonnet switch. When alarming the car the alarm emits a 'beep' to tell me a door etc is ajar. When starting the car the display shows a problem in the bonnet area and the STOP light on the dash permanently flashes.

The bonnet is securely closed and is not loose, therefore I presume that the problem lies in the switch which I believe is located somewhere in the bonnet catch - is this correct?

How can I fix this problem...?

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions

Ok, where is the switch. I've had a cursory glance and can't find it?
Thanks.
