Hi,
I have just bought a 206cc and is it 5 years old. I just noticed one problem now the weather is heating up. When I turn my air-conditioning on it doesn't feel like air-con, just a fan. I had air-con in my previous car and when I had it on the coldest setting it would get bloody freezing in the car!
Does anyone know anything about this? Are 206's known for rubbish air-con? Is my air-con knackered? Any advice will help!!
Cheers, Phil
(Yes my windows are all up!)

Hello Phil and welcome,
A problem with the 206cc is that folk tend not to use the air-con with the roof down of course, and in the colder months it is the heater that is in use.
As a consequence, unless owners ensure that they run the air-con for 15 mins or so each week, the seals do not get lubricated and dry out. Your air-con has probably never been serviced during its 5 years either.
Regassing might bring it back to life, but if it has been neglected it could cost a few hundred pounds to rejuvenate it.

No sorry. I'd use a professional air-con service. Costs about £60.
But feel free to DIY if you are confident.
Good luck.
