where are the microswitches?

Roof got stuck when nearly shut. Got it into the boot but now it won't work & just get the alarm. Tried the hydraulic re-set thing - without any joy.
Thinking now it's these "microswitches" that people mention - but don't know where to find them - what they look like. Also can't play/open any of the downloads....

should i just accept that this is a dealerr job? It's just that i rang them this morning & they said - that the problem (whatever it was!) might cost up to 3 grand!! to fix.

Had the same problem last week, Peugeot at Godalming said I had to get a new micro switch, cost me £131.00 all in all. kept the old switch, been pressing it a lot and nothing wrong with it, it could have just stuck for no reason, I' told this can happen. So keeping it for a spare, the switch is on the left hand side at top/back of boot near the hydraulics, it's a small metal strip (like in a battery) give it a few pushes and try the roof switch again.

I've also got a problem with my roof - my boyfriend started the car half way through taking the roof down, it stuck mid-way and we managed to shut this but now I can't take it down Do I need to re-set using the microswictehs also does anyone please know?
I tried the re-set button in the boot but this didnt work

with you forcing the roof you have probably regisered a fault in the ecu for the roof

if you take it to the dealer they will reset the computer for you

Save yourself £76 by disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours, this normally resets an ECU.
